Yes Extends Fragile Tour Into 2026 as Jon Anderson and Rick Wakeman Launch Major U.S. Concert Runs

In a year already buzzing with classic rock reunions and long-awaited comebacks, Yes has officially extended its Fragile Tour into 2026, aligning their momentum with solo tours from former bandmates Jon Anderson and Rick Wakeman. It’s shaping up to be a landmark year for progressive-rock fans, especially across the U.S., where the nostalgia wave is running high — something even outlets like NY Buzz are already spotlighting.

The newly expanded leg finds Yes returning to the U.K., performing their iconic 1971 masterpiece Fragile in full, just as they did during this year’s acclaimed U.S. run. For many fans, hearing classics like “Roundabout” played live from start to finish is as close as it gets to stepping back in time to the band’s golden era.

Yes Extends Fragile Tour Into 2026 as Anderson and Wakeman Roll Out Major U.S. Shows

Yes Brings the Full ‘Fragile’ Experience Back to the Stage

Kicking off at Glasgow’s Royal Concert Hall and wrapping with a two-night finale at London’s Palladium, the 2026 Fragile Tour promises a deep dive into Yes’ most defining musical chapter. Alongside the complete album performance, the band will also deliver fan favorites spanning their vast catalog.

Guitarist Steve Howe reflected on the album’s creative legacy, noting that Fragile marked a pivotal moment for the group:

“With Eddie Offord co-producing and each of us contributing solo pieces, Fragile became a bold statement of creativity. It was Bill Bruford’s idea to include individual showcases — a bit oddball, but it captured the spirit of the time.”

Today, Howe helms a lineup featuring keyboardist Geoff Downes, bassist Billy Sherwood, and drummer Jay Schellen, who stepped in following the passing of longtime drummer Alan White.
“We’re all looking forward to the U.K. dates,” Howe added, hinting at a varied first set followed by the full Fragile experience and an encore that fans know will deliver.

Jon Anderson Returns With the Band Geeks

Meanwhile, Jon Anderson, the unmistakable voice of Yes’ classic era, continues building excitement across the U.S. as he prepares for his 2026 tour backed by the fan-favorite Band Geeks. Led by Richie Castellano of Blue Öyster Cult, the ensemble has earned acclaim for faithfully recreating Yes’ complex arrangements with stunning precision.

Anderson’s tour, running from April through early May, includes multiple stops in Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania, and Michigan, offering American fans a rare chance to hear those soaring vocals up close once again.

Rick Wakeman Resumes Touring After Major Health Update

Keyboard legend Rick Wakeman is also making a highly anticipated return to the road following brain surgery in late 2024 to treat normal pressure hydrocephalus. His recovery forced a postponement of his 2025 U.S. shows, but tickets from those dates will now be honored during his 2026 run.

Wakeman’s schedule spans March 11–29, hitting theaters across Connecticut, New Jersey, Ohio, Missouri, Illinois, and more. Some shows will also feature his son Oliver Wakeman, adding a multi-generational touch that longtime Yes fans will appreciate.

This year also saw Wakeman release a solo piano album titled Melancholia, a reflective project that resonated deeply with listeners during his recovery period.
